My last upload to this thread, since Winter is pretty much here. Some photos I never got round to uploading. Not sure why, they have stronger colours than any of my other albums.

^^^ Beautiful! Sunday I visited my newly bought stately home in the SE outskirts of Paris. Oh I saw the sun! I got a couple nice lions. Looking back at my château: Nice tree-lined perspective there I already put some Christmas decorations.

some fall photos I never got around to posting. from an overnight camping in early October. camped 3 miles from the trailhead, goal was to have a peaceful camping spot + be able to start my hike quickly the next day. Usually do the whole route as a long day hike, didn't really need to do it as a backpack. Normally don't backpack and don't have a good backpack for an overnight, but with a lighter sleeping bag and careful packing was able to squeeze everything. Yahya Sinwarworked out well, will do a backpack deeper in next where i could catch sunset / early morning light from a mountainside. but I hate very heavy packs Trail has some interesting scramble sections on the ascent, posted a video on another thread cdweather.boards.net/post/193533Right at the beginning:

10th of November: I remember some people talking about birches being able to keep their leaves unusually far into the season, but at least in Umeå the true winners are the hornbeams. They were pretty much completely green without any sign of fall whatsoever until we hit our first properly cold lows in the beginning of November, then they started showing signs of frost damage.
