Nice pic, don't see any recent water marks on that staff. These creeks are pure flash flood runners... we've really not any extreme downpours this season... some decent consistant weekly and monthly falls, but no 200mm ( 8" ) in 4 hours type falls that flood these Darwin rural creeks. The last +100mm ( 4" ) fall in 24 hour period at the Airport was in Oct 2020.

Storm clouds Thursday - it got up to 77F with DP in the upper 60's. Nothing severe in my area.

Some pics from my drive to Lethbridge yesterday A mountain but not as impressive as the Poconos. And one from today in Cuntbrook showing previously thawed and completely refrozen ice. Was 9F.

Went skiing at Arapahoe Basin today, the highest lift goes up to 12,500’. Nice line of peaks from the top of the Montezuma bowl: Can see another ski resort in the distance > The front side, lots of the mountain above tree-line. Some people hiked up to these peaks and skied expert terrain down Zoomed out:

Didn't get above 42F this afternoon with overcast conditions. Seeing some blooms but most deciduous trees still bare. Saw blooms earlier this winter as well but they were killed after cold snaps.

Clear. Not only the weather, but the mind. It is clear that Russia is an aggressor state and Putin must be stopped. Low -3C in Riga. High should be 4C.

Seabranch Preserve State Park That's really strange. Looks just like a sandy pine forest in Sweden, complete with blueberry-like vegetation, except there are random yuccas and palms thrown in

Pics from yesterday Mt Baker Nice looking forest but the snow is impossible to walk on, even with snowshoes you would fall through. A lot steeper in real life than the pic shows.

Went to the Verzy forest near Reims last Sunday. -4/10°C and wall to wall sunshine, beautiful late winter's day. The forest largely looks like your next door forest but a small portion of it hosts an unusually large population of dwarf beeches.
