Sunny, 19C. Making the most of this nice weather because next week's forecast isn't great.

Some leftover pictures from a few days ago. I was in no rush to post them, but the leaves have changed so much that they already look dated. This was taken today.

Spring coming along here, though not much progress in the past week due to record cold conditions (2nd latest ice day on record). Things should start to take off now though, that the last freeze of the season is past. Pictures from the last week of March, most trees budding and some non-native species are blooming, such as the cherries and magnolias.

Photos from Melbourne, honestly didn't take many as I was just exploring and enjoying the place. To sum up the trip, got there thursday and immediately got a pint before walking down to the footy. Friday consisted of a huge walk around the city fringe followed by a trip down to St Kilda/Middle Park to see the bay; a trip back into the city and then the football at night (with JG). Then went out on the town. Saturday consisted of heading down to the west (Footscray and Williamstown) before going to the football (with JG). Then proceeded to go out on the town again. Sunday consisted of a big walk to the northern inner suburbs (Princess Hill, North Carlton, North Fitzroy) before going to 2 games in the afternoon. Then going out on the town. Literally saw 3-4hours of sun on friday morning, the remainder was 19/14 and overcast with patchy drizzle/light rain...melbourne REALLY put on a show of how dynamic it can be /s City view from hostel

Most of the snow is gone in Saskatoon except in some grassy areas, particularly north-facing.

^^ Light at the end of the tunnel! Couple flower updates from here... This wisteria is super early. It used to be a May flower in the previous version of this climate. Photos from Melbourne, honestly didn't take many as I was just exploring and enjoying the place. Nice! Was it your first time there? Melbourne is the Australian city I'd be the most eager to visit if I found myself down under for some reason. Btw you must be the poster that met the most fellow forumers on here!

Took a stroll in the forest today. Birches have leafed out: Oaks will be the last to do so. Unpassable ford after yesterday's abundant rain (around 50 mm in that spot): Cuckoo chant
