On Sunday, a small trip to a bog and forest, about 20 kilometers from my place. The weather was similar to yesterday's weather, cool, mostly cloudy and unsettled, high 8.8c, low 0.4c.   |

Went to Stokes State Forest today. Nice day for a walk with temps in the upper 60s (around 20 C), clear skies and a refreshing breeze.  |

This is a little woodland close to where I live earlier this week when it was overcast. I love this time of the year, not only trees coming into leaf but the forest floor is carpeted by Bluebells & Wood Anemones, the scent is amazing too.  |

Currently in Cambridge, Waikato. A relatively warm 23/18C today and foliage is still mostly green, although its at least a week or two ahead of Auckland.  |
