Today's sunset over a medieval ruin I've never heard of about 50 km east of Paris. Trees are either budding or leafed out. Greener in the city.

The canal is looking brighter than it did last week. Didn't notice this fella posing for me at the time: There's been a fair bit of change in the more exposed spots. I endangered myself to take some of these shots. Was it worth it? In hindsight, probably not

Took a few quick pics while dropping a friend off at a cruise terminal in Bayonne, NJ. Seems like a pretty nice town with a lot of new development along the waterfront. Classic coastal spring cooling with it being about 10 degrees cooler than inland...58 F/14 C at Newark airport while here it's 68 F/20 C. Beautiful spring day. Lower Manhattan:

My dream of being fully leafed out by the end of April didn't materialise, but it was a good effort. It's that funny time of year when we have people wearing coats alongside people in shorts and t-shirts eating ice cream. I intend to own property along this river one day. I'm just a bit short of cash at the moment - A couple million pound short. Obligatory urban shots. The guy with the grey hair is Ian Rush, Liverpool's all-time highest goalscorer. I didn't want to be rude and shove the camera in his face, so I took a sneaky little pic of his butt instead.

Went to Tobyhanna State Park in PA today. Still far behind on the spring bloom due to elevation.

Itโs the start of flowering tree season. Much less variety than Rochester but still very nice.
